Snake cobra


Let’s start a master class on assembly modular a snake.
For a start collect the yellow, brown and green modules origami cobra.

The scheme of assembly of the module for origami.


Begin the assembly with a snake tail. The modules should be fixed deploying them the short side up as shown in the picture.


first row: 1 brown module;
2nd row: 2 yellow module;
3rd row: 3 brown modules (last modules are put on by one pocket one corner);
4th row: 2 green module (extreme corners of the previous row of modules are free);
5th row: 1 green module, 1 yellow, 1 green (extreme modules take corners of modules of the previous odd row);
6th row: 2 yellow module;
7th row: 1 yellow module, 1 brown, 1 yellow (extreme modules take corners of modules of the previous odd row);
8th row: 2 brown module;
9th row: 1 brown module, 1 green, 1 brown;
10th row: 2 green module;
11th row: 1 green module 2 yellow (in this case yellow modules are put one pocket on one corner), 1 green;


12th row: 1 module yellow, 1 brown, 1 yellow;
13th row: 1 yellow module, 2 brown, 1 yellow;
14th row: 1 brown module, 1 green, 1 brown;
15th row: 1 module yellow, 2 green, 1 yellow;
16th row: 1 green module, 1 yellow, 1 green;
17th row: 1 green module, 2 yellow, 1 green;
18th row: 1 module yellow, 1 brown, 1 yellow;
19th row: 1 yellow module, 2 brown, 1 yellow;
20th row: again the tail extends (see a photo 2), it is necessary to put on 1 brown module, 2 green (one pocket one corner), 1 brown (extreme corners of modules of the previous row remain free);

22nd row: 1 green module, 2 yellow, 1 green;
23rd row: 1 green module, 1 yellow, 1 brown, 1 yellow, 1 green;
24th row: 1 yellow module, 2 brown, 1 yellow;
25th row: 1 yellow module, 1 brown, 1 green, 1 brown, 1 yellow;
26th row: 1 brown module, 2 green, 1 brown.
Then repeat ranks from the 21st on the 26th 5 more times.
After that collect the following ranks:
57th row: 1 brown module, 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 brown;
58th row: 1 green module, 2 yellow, 1 green;
59th row: 1 green module, 1 yellow, 1 brown, 1 yellow, 1 green;
60th row: 1 yellow module, 2 brown, 1 yellow;
61st row: 1 yellow module, 3 brown, 1 yellow;
62nd row: 4 brown modules;
63rd row: 5 brown modules.
Repeat the 62nd row and the 63rd 3 more times.


Carefully hold workpiece and give the tail curved shape.


The hood of a cobra gathers separately.

15th row: 1 module brown, 1 yellow, 1 green, 2 yellow, 2 brown, 2 yellow, 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 brown;
16th row: 1 module brown, 1 yellow, 1 green, 2 yellow, 1 brown, 2 yellow, 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 brown;
17th row: 1 module brown, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 yellow, 2 brown, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 brown;

The hood is ready. Slightly bend it, having given the necessary form.
Continue to the head assembly, again increasing the number of modules in each row.


24th row: 5 brown modules (extreme modules is necessary to capture the loose corners of the previous row of modules);
25th row: 6 brown modules;
26th row: 7 modules brown;
27th row: 8 brown modules.
Beginning with next row, the number of modules in each row is reduce again. In this case the extreme corners of the modules are free.
28th row: 7 modules brown;
29th row: 6 brown modules;
30th row: 5 brown modules;
31st row: brown 4 modules;
32nd row: 3 brown modules;
33rd row: 2 brown modules;
34th row: 1 brown module.
Then given the workpiece shape. Glue the eyes.
Attach to a tail part of a snake a hood with the head.More convenient it will be done on a hard surface, putting both on workpiece sideways. For a more reliable connection, use glue.
Give the turned out stability of the figure,bending for this purpose a tail of a snake.
